If you’re seeing a limit on posts with links on your Page, here’s how it works: you can include links in up to 2 organic posts or comments per month. With a Meta One Advanced, Expert or Max plan, the limit increases.
The default limit resets on the 1st of each month. With a Meta One plan, the limit resets monthly on the date the subscription renews. Unused posts or comments with links do not transfer to the following month.
What counts toward the limit#
Links included in organic posts and comments you’ve published on your Page count toward the monthly limit. The following links do not count toward the limit:
- Additional links in the comments of a post where you've already included a link
- Links to Meta technologies, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads
- Links for affiliate partners connected through Facebook's affiliate partnerships
- Links in ads
What you can do with links#
When you include a link in an organic post or comment from your Page, you can:
- Customize the link preview image: Select an image from your camera roll to use as the link preview image (instead of an auto-selected image).
- Add a call-to-action button: Add a dedicated button to your post that sends your audience directly to a destination of your choice.
Include links in more posts or comments with Meta One#
To add links in more than 2 posts or comments per month, you can subscribe to a Meta One Advanced, Expert or Max plan.
